Which methods of payment are accepted by Zoobeetle?

Zoobeetle accepts the following credit cards: Carte Bleue, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and e-carte Bleue. Credit card payments are always debited in euros, even if your bank account is in another currency ($, £ or CHF).

Zoobeetle also accepts payments via PayPal. With PayPal, you can pay in euros, British pounds or US dollars.

Are credit card payments really safe?

Zoobeetle takes the security of your payments and the confidentiality of your personal data very seriously. Our site uses a protected payment mode called SSL (Secure Socket Layer) which automatically encodes your banking coordinates during their transmission over the Internet. During this encryption process, you’ll see a padlock symbol in the window of your browser. This ensures you that the site you’re on is secure. As your bank data is encrypted at all times during your transaction, it is totally illegible to third parties. Your transaction is carried out via the E-TRANSACTION online payment system of our partner bank, SOCIETE GENERALE. This bank is the sole recipient of all banking information provided on our site at the time of payment. When you enter your credit card number to pay for your purchases, you’re effectively sending your information directly to SOCIETE GENERALE, where it is recorded in their highly-protected server. This information is not passed on to any third party, not even to Zoobeetle; nor is it stored by our technical service providers.

Are taxes included?

The prices displayed for our items include all taxes for orders within the European Union.

For orders outside the European Union, the prices indicated do not include taxes. However, these prices are subject to the eventual taxes and customs fees imposed by the country of destination. These charges and the attending formalities are the responsibility of the customer/recipient. They must be paid to the carrier upon delivery.

Why was my payment refused?

First, verify the data concerning your credit card and all other information you have provided to Zoobeetle (last name, first name, etc.). Then try again. You may also contact our bank to see whether there is an eventual threshold which may be blocking the authorization of your payment.
