For our last day in Fes, we decided to totally immerse ourselves in the local culture, starting with a hamman – a body scrub with black soap and then a stimulating massage at NAUSIKAA… Painful, yes, but we emerged newly serene.
On our way back, we crossed paths with a poet: “You are as charming as tea with fresh mint”. Swoon!
We were now ready to meet with Rachid and Samira who welcomed us with open arms to dine on THE couscous! It was a feast for our senses with all its tastes, textures and aromas, and as for our sense of humor: we roared with laughter at their stories about some of the “special” tourists they’d met over the years!
Our memorable trip ended in style with this unforgettable last day. Thank you Rachid, Samira, Karine et Valérie… See you again soon!
